Brotherly Love

It's time to start in French for once...

At the end of the semester my family and I went to Philadelphia to celebrate Mona and Pete's graduations and their engagement party. We had a ton of fun, which is to be expected whenever you reunite all of my siblings. We really had a great week; we didn't visit anything, but it wasn't the end of the world because we've already visited Philly a few times. Instead of seeing the city we spent time partying with my family. I'm posting below some of the photos taken in Philly.

Since this is my running blog I should add (proudly!) that I got all of the runs in that I needed to, including the 16-miler (on a treadmill!!).

Jesse also made a great video of the trip that you should watch if you haven't seen it already! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Sz_kgKtm08

I managed to get injured (although very minor).
Je me suis légèrement blessée un soir...

Brotherly love tra la la!
Philadelphie veut dire "amour fraternel"

Paul and Michelle at Fork, where we had a delicious family dinner!

Dinner was followed by a few drinks.
Le dîner était suivi de quelques verres.

Pete and Mona introduced us to a drink called the Obama Bomb. Surgeon general's warning: too many Obama Bombs may result in plants coming out of your head.

We did make it to a Phillies game.

This place was called the Marathon Bar. Ha!
Ce café s'appelle le Marathon Bar. Parfait !

All the sibs at Pete and Mona's engagement party.

It was a great party!
C'était génial comme soirée !

I really did go running!
La preuve que j'ai couru.

Hanging out at Michelle's mom's place in NJ.

After my 16 miles on a treadmill! Great success!
